Brave New World

Huxley’s “Brave New World” was ahead of its time when first published in 1932, and its story can still be considered relevant nowadays. That raised the question of how can physical books still be desirable in this new digital era. People say not to judge a book by its cover, but we can’t avoid it since it is what capture our attention first. Since this book is a personal favorite, I wanted to create a cover that included elements of the story that can be decoded once readers are done with the book, to encourage reading by curiosity. For this project I crafted, photographed and retouched photo for creation of a new cover.
